Cultural workshop Casa is a community made up of all the people participating in its activities. We focus on meaningful and creative work, resources and strengths.
We respecting each other
We respect our own and each other’s physical, psychological and emotional boundaries.
We speak respectfully of others and ourselves. We do not use discriminatory, insulting or degrading speech.
We give everyone body peace, and we don’t comment on our own or other people’s bodies.
We respect each other’s privacy. We do not share other people’s stories outside the workshop.
We give everyone space to participate in the discussion and activities in their own way.
You don’t need to be friends with everyone, but we try to treat each other with kindness and respect.
We avoid assumptions
We avoid assuming others’ gender, sexuality, background, identity, ability to act, thoughts and life situation.
Instead of making assumptions, we strive to be open and listen. We give the other person a chance to tell us about themselves.
We are all jointly responsible for a safer space
The principles of a safer space do not mean that you have to be perfect or know everything. At Casa, you are allowed to try, make mistakes and succeed. The most important thing is to take responsibility for your actions and apologize if necessary.
We are committed to following the principles of a safer space, so that Casa would be as safe a place as possible for different people.
